Eddie’s Bar & Grill is such a fun place to have a meal. Their outdoor seating area is inviting and dog friendly. Sadly this blog review comes with mixed findings.
THE GOOD: Service was very good. Our server took good care of not only us but she also showed up right away with a dog bowl full of water for our rescues as soon as we sat down. Big points!
The steak quesadillas were a hit. Wonderful presentation and delicious. Served with sour cream and salsa it was a definite pleaser.
The grilled grouper with a side of vegetables were tasty, nicely seasoned and again the presentation was nice. This was slightly offset by the fish and veggies coming out mildly warm at best. Other than the temperature of the fish, the grouper was fresh and firm.
COULD USE IMPROVEMENT:
I ordered the “Hangover Burger.” It sounded appealing, listed on their menu as a perfectly grilled egg, bacon, and cheddar cheese atop a burger. We ordered it medium and it was in fact cooked medium. Unfortunately it came out cold. We also elected to have the veggies instead of fries but it was served with the fries. Our server said that she already put in an order of the vegetables but by the time they came we had almost finished the burger. The veggies also came cold. An expediter making sure that items didn’t sit in the service window would go a long way.
