Riviera Bar & Grill in Punta Gorda Florida was so good we had to come back twice in one week.
THE GOOD: The service combined with the ambiance of being located right on the water is at the top of the list. The food is also top notch. Shoutout to Joan, our server, who was fantastic
The blackened Mahi-mahi accompanied by a skewer of blackened shrimp and fresh vegetables made my day. The fish was perfectly blackened giving it a wonderful flavor without being overwhelming or too salty.. The attention to detail also showed with the shrimp being deveined.
My wife had the grilled grouper also with the fresh vegetables. She too loved her dish and wants to come back again just for it.
The outdoor patio seating is dog friendly and the staff made sure that our dogs promptly received water as well as dog biscuits.
Tip: Get there early as this restaurant popular and fills up quickly
