Sister’s Restaurant, Port St. Joe Florida

Warning, if you don’t like good food, eating where the locals eat, hate being greeted with a warm smile, being called “sweetie” and wished a Merry Christmas, perhaps there is a place where you can go to get none of the above. We loved it here for all of the above.

We’ve eaten here for breakfast before and always had a good meal.  Today we came to Sister’s Restaurant to try their lunch. Sister’s is on the main strip in the business district of  Port St. Joe Florida.

THE GOOD:  We ordered the seared Ahi Tuna off the Tapas menu. We added a small side salad and had an exceptional meal with the tuna seared perfectly.

My wife ordered the baked chicken lunch special. The chicken came with mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, vegetables and a slice of very delicious corn bread. The chicken was flavorful and cooked nicely and came moist.

While we didn’t order wine with our meal it was available should we wanted to.

Sister’s Restaurant is a well established Port St. Joe business, serving the community for over 20 years.

COULD USE IMPROVEMENT:  The two pieces of chicken were both dark meat and should you wish to receive a white meat portion, as we did, it was not an option today.
