Love great chicken wings? We’ve got the place for you. Todays outing was to Mugs Sports Bar & Grill in Largo Florida. Advertised as the biggest wings, breaded or naked, plain or dipped in one of 14 different sauces.
THE GOOD: Let’s start with the service. Our server, Michelle, was incredible. We counted almost a dozen tables in her outdoor seating area and it was almost as if she only had two. Fast, efficient and very attentive. We never had to ask for a thing. She was right on top of everything. Even bringing us a refill drink during one of her fly by.
The outdoor seating was dog friendly and had we known we would have brought ours.
We ordered our Buffalo wings unbreaded and on the dry side. It came with just enough sauce to give us a taste and the sauce was very good. Next visit we will experiment with one of the other featured sauces and order them wet. There was plenty of napkins brought to our table to do that and keep our fingers and face clean. The wings were very delicious.
My wife ate healthy today and ordered grilled chicken breast with broccoli and sautéed green beans and onions. It was so good that she offered me a bite saying “you have to taste this.” I can confirm that the chicken breast was cooked perfectly and tasted quite delicious. Another winner.
