Exit 10 Restaurant & Pub, Seffner Florida

Exit 10 Restaurant & Pub, located in the Lazydays RV Resort in Seffner (Tampa) Florida was our lunch stop for today. It has a dine in seating area as well as an outside window to serve guest on the swimming pool deck. Perfect location and setup to satisfy those enjoying an afternoon out at the pool, especially considering that they have a full bar offering.

THE GOOD;  Mary, our server, was very nice and eager to please. She was a good ambassador of this restaurant. Their milkshakes are probable very good as we heard repeated requests for them.

COULD USE IMPROVEMENT:  This will be the very first review we’ve given where we can’t say anything good about the food. We really don’t like doing this (read our other reviews).

We ordered the grilled fish (Cod) sandwich without cheese. It came with cheese which was easy enough to remove but it went downhill from there. The Cod was under cooked and spongy in the middle. Rarely do we send a dish back but it was necessary this time. The second sandwich came out much better, hot and flakey the way it should have been.

The chicken wings were a disappointment and we only ate half of them. The wings were rubbery on the outside and not crispy the way chicken wings should be served. We were told that they prepare them par cooked ahead of time to help prepare them crispy before serving but this did not happen for us. I seldom decline to eat all my chicken wings but it just wasn’t up to snuff. If you love good chicken wings this is not the place to come.

The salad that accompanied the fish entree was served at room temperature and showed up without any dressing, which was delivered after we pointed out that it was missing.

We were invited back to try again but our lunch, along with three cocktail drinks and tip ran us $80, so we will pass on wasting our money again.

Exit 10 Restaurant & Pub may be good enough for pool deck food but not for a sit down meal.
