Tantrums Lakeside Grill, located right on the water overlooking a cable water ski park, was perfect. Not only because of the picturesque setting but also for their very good lunch fare.
THE GOOD: Very dog friendly outdoor seating on a back porch overlooking the lake and water park with skiers jumping over ski jumps by being pulled along on a massive cable system. The owner even came by with a bucket of water to replenish our dogs bowl.
I’ve been on the Keto diet lately so the chicken breast sandwich with lettuce, tomato, bacon and topped with fresh sliced avocado was perfect and delicious. The chicken breast was grilled ideal, nice a moist. The dogs got to have the fries and the bun. I only wish that I could have eaten both the fries and the bun because I could see that both were to die for. Who says you can’t diet and still have a scrumptious lunch while dieting.
My wife ordered one of her favorite meals, a plate of peel and eat steamed shrimp. The shrimp was not only steamed perfectly but was also deveined. A little touch showing attention to detail that many places ignore to do. She gave it five stars out of five.
COULD USE IMPROVEMENT: Nothing noted
We will definitely be back next time we come through the area.
